Drontal Plus is suitable for all sizes of dogs. One tablet is required per 10kg of body weight every 3 months.

Like all Drontal tablets, it works with a single dose, and can be given with or without food. For dogs, the new artificial beef flavour makes it less like a treatment, and more like a treat!
Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals. It is advisable to treat the bitch at the same time as the puppies.
For the control of Toxocara, nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after giving birth and every two weeks until weaning.
To avoid worms reaching maturity and affecting your pet's health, and to reduce public health risks, you should worm your pet regularly with Drontal. Worming at least every three months will reduce this risk, but ask your vet who will be able to evaluate your pet's health and your family's requirements and advise you on a specific worming routine for your pet.
Drontal Plus Flavour Bone Shaped Worming Tablet contains 50mg Praziquantel, 144mg Pyrantel Embonate and 150mg Febantel. One tablet per 10kg bodyweight every 3 months.
Dosing Intervals for Drontal Plus For Dogs
For routine control adult dogs should be treated every 3 months and in the event of a heavy roundworm infestation, a repeat dose should be given after 14 days.
Puppies and Small Dogs:
3-5 kg bodyweight = 1/2 tablet
6-10 kg bodyweight 1 tablet
11-15 kg bodyweight = 1 1/2 tablets
16-20 kg bodyweight = 2 tablets
21-25 kg bodyweight = 2 1/2 tablets
26-30 kg bodyweight = 3 tablets
31-35 kg bodyweight = 3 1/2 tablets
36-40 kg bodyweight = 4 tablets
